The Journal of Bavarian Cookie Recipes (and Occasional Science) began life as nothing more than an abbreviation- the destination to which I would consign all the musings too trivial and esoteric to be worth a mention in any serious scholarly publication.

Perhaps inevitably, the joke has begun to take on a life of its own, becoming perhaps indistinguishable from certain other prestigious journals. Should this ruse prove successful, I will of course have no choice but to raise the cost of a subscription dramatically… but until then, sit back, read, and enjoy. In whichever order you prefer.
